Statute: Health Research Foundation Act Civil Service Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated May 3, 2007 and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 14 of the Acts of 1998, the Health Research Foundation Act, and

Section 44A of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act, is pleased to: (

a) appoint the following persons as members of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation, each for a three year term commencing on June 1, 2007 and expiring on May 31, 2010: Colleen Elliott of Truro, Colchester County; Joanne Gallivan, PhD. of Sydney, Cape Breton Regional Municipality; Dr. Jean Gray of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; M. Frances Hinton of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality; Brian MacDougall of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality; Peter McLeod, PhD. of Wolfville, Kings County; Peter Mullen, PhD. of Kentville, Kings County; (

b) appoint Colleen Elliott of Truro, Colchester County, as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation for a term of three years commencing on June 1, 2007 and expiring on May 31, 2010; and (

c) appoint Dr. Jean Gray of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as Vice-chair of the Board of Directors of the Health Research Foundation for a term of three years commencing on June 1, 2007 and expiring on May 31, 2010.
