OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated May 21, 2019, and pursuant to clauses 7(
d) and 16(1)(
a) of
Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Lands and Forestry: (
a) acquiring an easement containing approximately 0.27 hectares (0.67 acres), located at Rockley, Cumberland County, and shown outlined in bold with a dashed line on the plan marked
Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation from the Municipality of the County of Cumberland, or its successor or assign, at no cost, subject to the condition that the Municipality of the County of Cumberland, or its successor or assign, be able to certify title to the lands in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (
b) issuing a grant or deed to convey a parcel of Crown lands (reserving an easement for the Crown) containing approximately 11.62 hectares (28.71 acres), located at Rockley, Cumberland County, and shown outlined in bold and shaded in dark grey on the plan marked
Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, to the Municipality of the County of Cumberland, or its successor or assign, for the amount of $37,754, plus HST; and (
c) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
