OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated September 20, 2023, is pleased, effective on and after November 28, 2023, (

a) pursuant to

Section 18 of

Chapter 79 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Communications and Information Act, to amend: (

i) the Royal Gazette

Part I Fees Regulations, N.S. Reg. 41/1999, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 1999-185 dated April 21, 1999, to update the fee structures to better align with the current operating procedures of the Royal Gazette

Part I, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, and (ii) the Royal Gazette

Part II Fees Regulations, N.S. Reg. 41/1999, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 1999-185 dated April 21, 1999, to set a fee and a minimum charge for a single issue of the Royal Gazette

Part II, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) pursuant to

Section 21 of

Chapter 393 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Regulations Act, to amend the Regulations under the Regulations Act, N.S. Reg. 42/1999, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 1999-186 dated April 21, 1999, to remove the option and fee to request regulations on disk, in the manner set forth in

Schedule "C" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
