Order in Council 1786/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council 1718/2019 dated November 28, 2019 the position of Community Opportunities Advocate has been established;

Therefore, pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario to provide for the appointment of advisors to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities;

Jamil Jivani of Toronto

is hereby appointed as the Community Opportunities Advocate to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not extending beyond March 31, 2022.
