STATUTES CORRECTION REGULATION, 2006

Corrections to Ministry of Education statutes

1 The following statutes are corrected as set out in the attached Schedule:

(

a) School Act ;

(

b) Teaching Profession Act .

Schedule

School Act

Section 7 (1) (

a) of the School Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 412, is amended by striking out "behavior" and substituting "behaviour".

Section 18 (2) is amended by striking out "teacher principal" and substituting "teacher, principal".

Section 154 (2) is amended by striking out "The Provincial Assessor" and substituting "The Surveyor of Taxes".

Section 166.431 (4) (

a) is amended by striking out "districty" and substituting "district".

Section 170.2 (1) is amended in the definition of "public post-secondary institution"

by repealing paragraph (d.1) and substituting the following:

(d.1) the Thompson Rivers University Act ; .

Teaching Profession Act

Section 27.1 of the Teaching Profession Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 449, is amended

(

a) in subsection (2) by striking out "Subsection (1)" and substituting "Subsection (1.1)", and

(

b) in subsection (3) by striking out "subsection (1)" and substituting "subsection (1.1)".
