OIC Text: \x09The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 28, 2007, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: \x09(a)\x09approve the issuance of a lease by the Minister of Natural Resources of a parcel of Crown land containing 40.5 hectares (100 acres), more or less, situate at Portapique, in the County of Colchester, and shown outlined in bold on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Slack Farms Limited, a body corporate with its registered office at Debert, in the County of Colchester, its successors, trustees and permitted assigns, for the purpose of cultivating and harvesting blueberries, and for no other purpose, for a term of ten (10) years with the annual rent calculated at 3% of the appraised market value of the unimproved land or 5% of the gross sales of agricultural production from the land, whichever is greater, with the right to renew the lease for a further ten (10) year term at a rent to be fixed by the Lessor, provided that the Lessee has satisfactorily complied with terms and conditions of the lease; and \x09(b)\x09authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
