Statute: Develop Nova Scotia Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Business, dated January 30, 2020, and pursuant to Sections 8 and 11 of

Chapter 25 of the Acts of 2018, the Develop Nova Scotia Act , is pleased to: (

a) appoint Paul Prosper, of Paqtnkek Mi’kmaw Nation, Antigonish County, as a member of the Board of Directors of Develop Nova Scotia for a term of four (4) years commencing February 28, 2020; (

b) reappoint Stephanie Nowe-Morris, of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as a member of the Board of Directors of Develop Nova Scotia for a term of four (4) years commencing February 28, 2020; and (

c) determine that each will be remunerated for their service as a member of the Board in the amount of $150 per day, and will be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred in fulfilling his or her duties, provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally payable to members of the civil service.
