An Act to Amend the Firefighters’ Compensation Act Loi modifiant la

Loi sur l’indemnisation des pompiers Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows: Sa Majesté, sur l’avis et avec le consentement de l’Assemblée législative du Nouveau-Brunswick, édicte : 1

Section of the Firefighters’ Compensation Act,

chapter F-12.5 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2009, is amended L’article de la

Loi sur l’indemnisation des pom- piers,

chapitre F-12.5 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 2009, est modifié (

a) by repealing paragraph (

a) and substituting the following:

a) par l’abrogation de l’alinéa a ) et son remplace- ment par ce qui suit : (

a) an amount equal to 40% of the New Brunswick Industrial Aggregate Earnings to assist with necessary expenses of death such as burial,

a) une somme égale à 40 % des gains pour l’en- semble des activités économiques au Nouveau- Brunswick pour les dépenses nécessaires occasion- nées par le décès tels les frais de funérailles; (

b) by adding after paragraph (

a) the following:

b) par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’alinéa a) : (a.1) an amount equal to 50% of the New Bruns- wick Industrial Aggregate Earnings, and a.1) une somme égale à 50 % des gains pour l’en- semble des activités économiques au Nouveau- Brunswick; Commencement Entrée en vigueur This Act shall be deemed to have come into force on December 20, 2012. 2 La présente loi est réputée être entrée en vigueur le décembre 2012. 1
