On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with

the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Administrative Penalties (Mines) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 47/2017, is amended

as set out in the attached Appendix 1,

(

b) the Mines Fee Regulation, B.C. Reg. 54/2015, is amended as set out in the

attached Appendix 2, and

(

c) the Permit Regulation, B.C. Reg. 99/2013, is amended as set out in the attached

Appendix 3.

Appendix 1

Section 3 of the Administrative Penalties (Mines) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 47/2017,

is amended by striking out " chief inspector " and substituting " chief permitting officer ".

Section 4 (1) is amended by striking out "

section 10 (8) (a) " and substituting "

section 10.1 (2) (a) ".

Appendix 2

1 Sections 4 (2), 5 (2) and (3) and 6 (2), (3) and (4) of the Mines Fee Regulation,

B.C. Reg. 54/2015, are amended by striking out " chief inspector " wherever it appears and substituting " chief permitting officer ".

Appendix 3

1 Sections 3 (1), 4, 5 (2), 6 (2) and 7 (3) of the Permit Regulation, B.C. Reg. 99/2013,

are amended by striking out " chief inspector " wherever it appears and substituting " chief permitting officer ".

Section 8 (2) (

b) is amended by striking out "

section 5 of the Environmental Assessment Act " and substituting "

section 9 of the Environmental Assessment Act ".
