Section of the Court Security Act,

chapter C- 30.5 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 2008, is amended in the definition “court” by striking out “the Provincial Court” and substituting “the Provincial Court of New Bruns- wick”. 1 L’article de la

chapitre C-30.5 des Lois du Nouveau-Brunswick de 2008, est modifié à la définition « tribunal » par la suppression de « Cour provinciale » et son remplacement par « Cour provinciale du Nouveau-Brunswick ». 2

Section of the Act is repealed and the following is substituted: 2 L’article de la Loi est abrogé et remplacé par ce qui suit : 5 A court security officer may refuse entry to a court area to any of the following persons and use as much force as is reasonably necessary to prevent that person’s entry: 5 L’agent de sécurité du tribunal peut refuser à une per- sonne l’accès aux lieux du tribunal et recourir à la force raisonnablement nécessaire pour le lui interdire dans les cas suivants : (

a) a person who does not satisfy the court security officer as to his or her identity;

a) il doute de son identité; (

b) a person who refuses to be screened for weapons;

b) elle refuse de se soumettre au contrôle de détection des armes; (

c) a person who is carrying or bringing a weapon with him or her; and

c) elle porte une arme ou l’apporte avec elle; (

d) a person whom the court security officer reason- ably believes may be a threat to the safety of the court area or a person within the court area.
