Section of the Assessment Act,

chapter A-14 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended by striking out “15.4, 15.5, 16, 17 and 17.1” and substituting “15.4, 15.5, 15.6, 16, 17 and 17.1”. 1 L’article de la

Loi sur l’évaluation, chapi- tre A-14 des Lois révisées de 1973, est modifié par la suppression de « 15.4, 15.5, 16, 17 et 17.1 » et son rem- placement par « 15.4, 15.5, 15.6, 16, 17 et 17.1 ». 2 The Act is amended by adding after

section 15.5 the following: 2 La Loi est modifiée par l’adjonction de ce qui suit après l’article 15.5 : 15.6(1) This

section applies in the year to real property that was assessed in the name of a person in the year 2017. 15.6(1) Le présent

article s’applique en au bien réel qui a été évalué au nom d’une personne en 2017. 15.6(2) For the year 2018, the amount of an assess- ment on real property referred to in subsection (1) is deemed to be, subject to subsection (3), the amount of the assessment for the real property in the year 2017. 15.6(2) Pour l’année 2018, le montant de l’évaluation du bien réel visé au paragraphe (1) est réputé, sous ré- serve du paragraphe (3), être le même que celui de son évaluation en 2017. 15.6(3) On the determination of the Director, the fol- lowing real property shall be exempt from the applica- tion of the provisions of this section: 15.6(3) Sont dispensés de l’application des disposi- tions du présent

article les biens réels ci-dessous dont le directeur détermine l’existence : (

a) new construction on real property or improve- ments to a portion of the real property, whether a building permit or a development and building permit to undertake the new construction or improvements has been issued or not;

a) toute nouvelle construction sur un bien réel ou toute amélioration sur une

partie de ce bien, qu’un permis de construction ou un permis d’aménagement et de construction pour entreprendre la nouvelle cons- truction ou l’amélioration ait été délivré ou non; 1 (

b) any real property that has been sold or transfer- red in the year 2017; and

b) tout bien réel qui a été vendu ou transféré en 2017; (

c) any real property in respect of which the Direc- tor corrects or alters a property assessment for the year as a result of

i) an error in any part of an assessment of the real property for the year 2017, (

(iv) soit d’une diminution du montant de l’éva- luation de ce bien du fait du libre jeu d’un marché concurrentiel. 15.6(4) If an assessment and tax notice was provided by the Director under

section with respect to real property referred to in subsection (1) in the year 2017, the Director shall prepare and mail an assessment and tax notice for the year in accordance with
