OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour dated March 7, 2000, pursuant to subsections 41 (1), (2), (3) and (4) of the regulations respecting fuel safety (the Fuel Safety Regulations) made pursuant to
Section 3 of
Chapter 171 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Fire Prevention Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Joe Black, Director, Apprenticeship, Department of Education, as the non-voting member of the Fuel Safety Board, representing the Apprenticeship Training Division of the Department of Education, for a two (2) year term of office effective April 5, 2000; (
b) appoint C. Barry Alexander of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Fuel Safety Board employed in the propane industry for a two (2) year term of office effective April 5, 2000; (
c) appoint C. Barry Alexander of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as the member to serve as the Chair of the Fuel Safety Board for a two (2) year term of office effective April 5, 2000; (
d) appoint Keith Marsh of Falmouth, Hants County, as a member of the Fuel Safety Board employed in the natural gas industry for a two (2) year term of office effective April 5, 2000; (
e) appoint Robert Redmond of Stewiacke, Colchester County, as a member of the Fuel Safety Board active in education and training for the gas industry for a two (2) year term of office effective April 5, 2000; (
f) appoint Dave A. Muise of Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Fuel Safety Board representing consumers or users of gas products for a two (2) year term of office effective April 5, 2000; (
g) appoint John Spencer of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as a member of the Fuel Safety Board considered "necessary for the efficient and effective operation of the Fuel Safety Board" for a two (2) year term of office effective April 5, 2000; and (
h) reimburse C. Barry Alexander, Keith Marsh, Robert Redmond, Dave A. Muise and John Spencer for any expenses necessarily and reasonably incurred by them in attending meetings of the Fuel Safety Board.
