Order in Council 925/2026

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Keeping Criminals Behind Bars Act, 2026

January 1, 2027 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Keeping Criminals Behind Bars Act, 2026 , c. 7, which amend the Animals for Research Act , come into force:

Schedule 1, s. 1-13.
