OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister responsible for the Human Rights Act dated November 25, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 22 of

Chapter 214 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Human Rights Act, is pleased, effective December 18, 2020, to: (

a) reappoint Deepak Prasad of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as a commissioner of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission for a three (3) year term commencing December 18, 2020; (

b) appoint Robin L. Thompson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as a commissioner of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission for a three (3) year term commencing December 18, 2020; (

c) appoint Savannah DeWolfe of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax), as a commissioner of the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission for a three (3) year term commencing December 18, 2020; (

d) order that Deepak Prasad, Robin L. Thompson and Savanah DeWolfe be remunerated for their service in the amount of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each half day spent at duly called meetings of the Commission and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses actually incurred in fulfilling their duties as a commissioner, provided that any such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
