Order in Council 988/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 1085/2023, dated July 27, 2023, Andy J. Bruno was further reappointed as a member of the City of Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Board for a period not to exceed three years, effective from August 17, 2023;

And

whereas the City of Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Board was continued as a police service board under the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 on April 1, 2024;

And

whereas Andy J. Bruno continued in office as a member of the City of Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Board under

section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 ;

And

whereas Andy J. Bruno has, in writing, resigned his appointment, effective July 11, 2025;

Therefore , pursuant to

section 27 of the Police Services Act and

section 31 of the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 , Order in Council numbered O.C. 1085/2023, dated July 27, 2023, is hereby revoked effective the date of this Order in Council is made.
