On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Administrator, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Extended Health Care and Dental Plans Regulation, B.C. Reg. 403/97, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule A,

(

b) the Group Life Insurance Regulation (No. 1), B.C. Reg. 408/97, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule B, and

(

c) the Long Term Disability Plan Regulation, B.C. Reg. 409/97, is amended as set out in the attached

Schedule C.

Schedule A

Section 2 of the Extended Health Care and Dental Plans Regulation, B.C. Reg. 403/97, is amended

(

a) by repealing paragraphs (h), (aa), (ii), (ss) and (vv), and

(

b) by adding the following paragraph:

(kkk) eligible employees of the Transportation Investment Corporation.

Section 3 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) by striking out “ payment of $100 000 per eligible employee ” and substituting “ payment of $250 000 per eligible employee ”, and

(

b) in subsection (2) by striking out “ payment of $40 000 per eligible employee ” and substituting “ payment of $100 000 per eligible employee ”.

Schedule B

Section 1 of the Group Life Insurance Regulation (No. 1), B.C. Reg. 408/97, is repealed and the following substituted:

Plan identification

1 The following group life insurance plans are identified:

(

a) Group Insurance Contract 6878GL (4) carried by the Great-West Life Assurance Company;

(

b) Group Insurance Contract 6878GL (5) carried by the Great-West Life Assurance Company.

Section 2 is amended

(

a) by repealing paragraphs (m), (ii), (jj), (uu), (kkk), (lll), (ppp) and (qqq), and

(

b) by adding the following paragraph:

(nnnn) eligible excluded employees of the Transportation Investment Corporation.

Section 4 is amended by striking out “ (l), (m), (n), (o), (p), (q), (s), (u), (v), (x), (y), (dd), (ee), (ff), (jj), (nn), (pp), (qq), (rr), (ss), (tt), (uu), (xx), (jjj), (lll), (mmm), (qqq), (ttt), (vvv), (xxx), (zzz), (aaaa), (ffff), (jjjj) or (llll). ” and substituting “ (l), (n), (o), (p), (q), (s), (u), (v), (x), (y), (dd), (ee), (ff), (nn), (pp), (qq), (rr), (ss), (tt), (xx), (jjj), (mmm), (ttt), (vvv), (xxx), (yyy), (zzz), (aaaa), (ffff), (jjjj), (llll) or (nnnn). ”

Section 5 (

a) is amended by striking out “ (y), (aa), (cc), (ii), (kk), (mm), (oo), (bbb), (ddd), (iii), (kkk), (ppp), (uuu), ” and substituting “ (y), (cc), (mm), (oo), (iii), (uuu), ”.

Schedule C

Schedule A of the Long Term Disability Plan Regulation, B.C. Reg. 409/97, is amended

(

a) in item A

(

i) by repealing paragraphs (g), (i), (t), (z), (kk) and (qq), and

(ii) by adding the following paragraph:

(fff) all eligible regular excluded employees of the Transportation Investment Corporation. ,

(

b) in item B by repealing paragraphs (e), (f), (h), (p), (

t) and (bb),

(

c) in paragraph (

a) of item I by striking out “ judges appointed ” and substituting “ judges and judicial justices of the peace appointed ”, and

(

d) by repealing item J.
