Order in Council 1651/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Resource Management and Safety Act, 2025

January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provisions of the Resource Management and Safety Act, 2025 , c. 17, being the Geologic Carbon Storage Act, 2025 , come into force:

Schedule 2, s. 1-57, 62-66.

January 1, 2026 is named as the day on which the following provision of the Resource Management and Safety Act, 2025 , c. 17, which amends the Oil, Gas and Salt Resources Act , comes into force:

Schedule 2, s. 67.
