Order in Council 1145/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas pursuant to subsection 10(

a) of the Education Act , the Lieutenant Governor in Council has established two Special Advisor positions by Order in Council, O.C. 1144/2019;

Therefore , in respect of the period beginning the date this Order in Council is made and ending February 28, 2020:

The Special Advisors shall each be paid $800 for every full day worked and $400 for every half day worked, up to $40,000; and

The Special Advisors shall be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their Special Advisor duties in accordance with the Management Board of Cabinet’s Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive.
