OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Community Services dated October 14, 2015, and pursuant to Sections 4 and 5 of
Chapter 130 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Disabled Persons Commission Act , is pleased to, effective October 30, 2015: (
a) revoke the appointment of Susan Stevens as a member of the Disabled Persons Commission, which appointment was made by Order in Council 2013-387 dated December 10, 2013; (
b) appoint Beverley Brown-Sweeting of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) and Rene Frigault of Halifax Regional Municipality (Dartmouth) as members of the Disabled Persons Commission for a term of two (2) years; and (
c) re-appoint Lorna MacPherson of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) and Linda Higgins of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as members of the Disabled Persons Commission for a term of two (2) years.
