Statute: Expropriation Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal, dated August 19, 2020, and pursuant to

Section 80 of

Chapter 156 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Expropriation Act is pleased to: (

a) authorize the conveyance of the parcel, identified as Parcel E, containing an area of 0.0617 acres (67.71 sq. metres), more or less, located at or near Pictou Road, Bible Hill, Colchester County, more particularly described in

Schedule “A” and shown on

Schedule “B” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, to Colleen R. Hatfield for the nominal consideration of $1.00; (

b) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines to effect the conveyance of the lands herein above described; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal to execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purpose of this Order.
