MODEL LOCAL EDUCATION AGREEMENT REGULATION

Definition

1 In this regulation, "Act" means the School Act .

Specified model agreement

2 For the purposes of

section 86.1 (2) (

a) of the Act, the attached model local education agreement is specified as a model agreement.

Information in model agreement

3 For the purposes of

section 86.1 (2) (

c) of the Act, the following information must be included in a model agreement:

(

a) the name of the parties to the model agreement at the beginning of the agreement, namely, the name of the first nation, treaty first nation or Nis g a’a Nation, as applicable, and of the board of education;

(

b) the year when the term of the model agreement begins and the year when the model agreement ends in

section 18.1 of the model agreement;

(

c) the mailing address and email address of the first nation, treaty first nation or Nis g a’a Nation, as applicable, and of the board of education, in

section 19.1 of the model agreement;

(

d) the school district number in the definition of “School District” in

section 1 of Appendix A of the model agreement.
