OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Labour and Workforce Development dated March 30, 2010, and pursuant to Sections 151, 152 and 153 of
Chapter 10 of the Acts of 1994-95, the Workers' Compensation Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Elaine Sibson as member and Chair of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia for a term of five (5) years commencing April 7, 2010; and (
b) fix the remuneration for Elaine Sibson at $20,000 per year and $300 per day for attendance at meetings of the Board of Directors of the Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, for attendance at committee meetings and meeting preparation days to a maximum of $50,000 per year in addition to reimbursement for reasonable travelling and other expenses incurred in connection with the work of the Board of Directors.
