OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated June 6, 2000, pursuant to the Public Service Act, the
Interpretation Act, the Public Service Superannuation Act, the Civil Service Act, and all other authority in her vested, is pleased to: (
a) revoke the appointment of George Fox as Deputy Minister of the Environment; (
b) appoint the undernoted persons to the positions set opposite their names: George Fox -Senior Consultant on Human Resource Restructuring; Peter Underwood -Acting Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Marketing, effective July 15, 2000; Kevin McNamara - Acting Deputy Minister of the Environment; and Brian Stonehouse - Acting Deputy Minister of Business and Consumer Services, effective September 2, 2000; (
c) designate those persons appointed in paragraph (
b) hereof as deputy heads within the meaning of the Civil Service Act and direct that they shall receive all customary benefits associated with the position of Deputy Head; (
d) designate those persons appointed by paragraph (
b) hereof to be and to have been employees for the purposes of the Public Service Superannuation Act; and (
e) fix and determine the salaries of those persons appointed by paragraph (
b) hereof to be paid at such rate as may be determined by the Priorities and Planning Committee in accordance with the Management Compensation Pay Plan approved from time to time by the Governor in Council.
