OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated September 3, 2003, pursuant to

Section 16 and

Section 21 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve: (

a) the issuance of a grant or deed by the Minister of Natural Resources to convey a parcel of Crown land containing an approximate area of 100 hectares, situate at Cogmagun, Hants County, and shown outlined in red on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to the Municipality of the District of West Hants, a body corporate, its successors or assigns, for the consideration of approximately $75,000, with the exact amount to be determined by multiplying the value of $750 per hectare by the area of the parcel of Crown land, in hectares, as determined by legal survey; (

b) the release, for the nominal consideration of $1.00, of a parcel of land containing an approximate area of 40 hectares, situate at Cogmagun, Hants County, described in Crown Grant No. 23428 to the Municipality of the District of West Hants, and shown outlined in green on the plan marked

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation from the following condition contained in Crown Grant No. 23428 "The lands herein described are granted to the Grantee in fee simple determinable, that is to say, for so long as the lands are used for the purpose of a municipal dump site and if the lands are no longer used for the purpose of a municipal dump site they shall automatically revert to the Grantor." and to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to execute such further documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
