Appendix

Accessible British Columbia Regulation

1 The

Schedule to the Accessible British Columbia Regulation, B.C. Reg. 105/2022, is amended

(

a) by repealing the following item as indicated:

Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Regulation

Section 1 (1) of the Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Regulation, B.C. Reg. 298/2004, is amended

(

a) by repealing the definition of "industry training authority" , and

(

b) by adding the following definition:

"SkilledTradesBC" means the corporation continued under

section 2 (1) of the Skilled Trades BC Act ; .

Section 35 is amended

(

a) in subsection (1) (a) (

i) by striking out " the Industry Training Authority " and substituting " SkilledTradesBC ",

(

b) in subsection (1) (a) (i) (

A) by striking out " Industry Training Authority Act " and substituting " Skilled Trades BC Act ",

(

c) in subsection (2) (a) (

i) by striking out " the Industry Training Authority " and substituting " SkilledTradesBC ", and

(

d) in subsection (2) (a) (i) (

A) by striking out " Industry Training Authority Act " and substituting " Skilled Trades BC Act ".

Section 37 (3) (

a) and (

Film and Television Tax Credit Regulation

Section 1 (2) of the Film and Television Tax Credit Regulation, B.C. Reg. 4/99, is amended in the definition of "approved training program" by repealing paragraph (c) (

i) and substituting the following:

(

i) provided under a signed apprenticeship agreement developed under

section 14 (

c) of the Skilled Trades BC Act , .

Government Body Designation (Public Interest Disclosure) Regulation

6 The

Schedule to the Government Body Designation (Public Interest Disclosure) Regulation, B.C. Reg. 58/2022, is amended

(

a) by repealing the following item as indicated:

(

b) by striking out " the Province of British Columbia " and substituting " SkilledTradesBC under the Skilled Trades BC Act ".

Income Replacement and Retirement Benefits and Benefits for Students and Minors Regulation

Section 51 (2) (

b) of the Income Replacement and Retirement Benefits and Benefits for Students and Minors Regulation, B.C. Reg. 60/2021, is amended by striking out " registered as a youth apprentice with the Industry Training Authority or the other trades programs managed by the Industry Training Authority that are not red seal trades ".

Information Management Regulation

9 The

Schedule to the Information Management Regulation, B.C. Reg. 109/2016, is amended

(

a) by repealing item 28, and

(

b) by adding the following item as indicated:

Section 1 of the Labour Mobility Regulation, B.C. Reg. 305/2009, is amended

a) by repealing the definition of "ITA" , and

(

b) by adding the following definition:

"SkilledTradesBC" means the corporation continued under

section 2 (1) of the Skilled Trades BC Act .

Section 2 is amended by striking out " the ITA " and substituting " SkilledTradesBC ".

Lobbyists Transparency Regulation

12 The Appendix to the Lobbyists Transparency Regulation, B.C. Reg. 235/2019, is amended

(

a) by repealing item 38, and

(

b) by adding the following item as indicated:

Ozone Depleting Substances and Other Halocarbons Regulation

Section 1 (1) of the Ozone Depleting Substances and Other Halocarbons Regulation, B.C. Reg. 387/99, is amended

(

a) by repealing paragraph (

a) of the definition of "approved person" and substituting the following:

(

a) holds appropriate industry training credentials or is an apprentice in compliance with the Skilled Trades BC Act or, if that Act is not applicable, is qualified in the appropriate trade sector by

(

i) having successfully completed a recognized program, or

(ii) having at least one year of supervised practical service experience, , and

(

b) by adding the following definition:

"recognized program" has the same meaning as in the Skilled Trades BC Act .

Professional Governance General Regulation

Schedule 1 to the Professional Governance General Regulation, B.C. Reg. 107/2019, is amended

(

a) by repealing " Industry Training Authority Act ", and

(

b) by adding " Skilled Trades BC Act " in the list below " Riparian Areas Protection Act ".

Security Services Regulation

Section 3 (5) (

a) and (7) (

a) of the Security Services Regulation, B.C. Reg. 207/2008, is amended by striking out " industry training recognition credential under the Industry Training Authority Act " and substituting " certificate of qualification under the Skilled Trades BC Act ".

Training Tax Credits Regulation

Section 1 of the Training Tax Credits Regulation, B.C. Reg. 243/2007, is amended by striking out " the Industry Training Authority " wherever it appears and substituting " SkilledTradesBC ".

Section 3 is amended by striking out " The industry training programs " and substituting " The accredited programs and recognized programs ".
