Order in Council 1087/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas by Order in Council numbered O.C. 940/2023, dated June 29, 2023, Dr. Paul E. Dungey was appointed as Regional Coroner for that part of the East Region of Ontario comprised of the following geographical areas prescribed under the Territorial Division Act, 2002 : Leeds and Grenville, Northumberland, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Frontenac, Hastings, Lennox and Addington, and Prince Edward, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council;

And

whereas Dr. Paul E. Dungey is retiring and has, in writing, effective September 24, 2025, resigned his appointment as Regional Coroner;

Therefore pursuant to subsection 4(1) of the Coroners Act , as amended, Order in Council numbered O.C. 940/2023, dated June 29, 2023, appointing Dr. Paul E. Dungey as Regional Coroner, is hereby revoked effective from the later of September 24, 2025 and the date this Order in Council is made.
