B.C. Reg. 233/2016 , deposited September 27, 2016, under the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE ACT [section 35] and the EMPLOYMENT AND ASSISTANCE FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES ACT [section 26]. Order in Council 677/2016, approved and ordered September 27, 2016.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective October 1 2016,

(

a) the Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(

b) the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002, is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

1 The Employment and Assistance Regulation, B.C. Reg. 263/2002, is amended in

section 7

(1) of

Schedule B by adding the following paragraph:

(

g) a benefit paid under

section 22, 23 or 23.2 of the Employment Insurance Act (Canada) to any person in the family unit.

Appendix 2

1 The Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Regulation, B.C. Reg. 265/2002,

is amended in

section 1 (

d) of

Schedule B by adding “ 3, ” after “ sections ”.

Section 7 (1) of

Schedule B is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(

g) a benefit paid under

section 22, 23 or 23.2 of the Employment Insurance Act (Canada) to any person in the family unit.
