OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Trade dated May 28, 2025, and pursuant to subsection 4(1) and clause 5(1)(

c) of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 2025, the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , is pleased to: (

a) determine that the Province of Alberta is a reciprocating jurisdiction within the meaning of the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , recognizing that Alberta has entered into commitments that provide substantially similar benefits to those offered by the Province of Nova Scotia, including on market access and mutual recognition; and (

b) determine that the Province of Prince Edward Island is a reciprocating jurisdiction within the meaning of the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act , recognizing that Prince Edward Island has passed legislation similar to and corresponding with the Free Trade and Mobility within Canada Act .
