OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated August 12, 2022, and pursuant to clause 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) issuing a lease to Maritime Launch Services (Nova Scotia) Ltd., a company with its registered office at Halifax, Halifax County, for Crown lands containing approximately 135.3 hectares (334.5 acres), as shown outlined in bold on the plan marked as

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, for the purpose of developing and operating a private commercial space launch site for satellites, for a term of 20 years, with the option to renew the lease for a further 20-year term; and (

b) executing such other documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
