B.C. Reg. 79/2021 , deposited March 16, 2021, under the OIL AND GAS ACTIVITIES ACT [sections 47, 110 and 112]. Regulation of the board of the Oil and Gas Commission, dated March 16, 2021.

The board of the Oil and Gas Commission orders that the Fee, Levy and Security Regulation, B.C. Reg. 8/2014, is amended

(

a) as set out in the attached Schedule, and

(

b) effective June 1, 2021, in

section 23.1 (

b) by striking out " $0.77 " and substituting " $0.70 ".

Schedule

1 Sections 11.1 (

b) and 11.2 (

b) of the Fee, Levy and Security Regulation, B.C. Reg. 8/2014, are repealed.

Section 23.2 (2) is amended by repealing paragraphs (

a) and (

b) and substituting the following:

(a) $2 650 in respect of the Coastal GasLink Pipeline Project;

(b) $200 in respect of

(

i) the Pacific Trail Pipelines Project, and

(ii) the Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Project.

3 The following

section is added:

Levy – LNG facility permit holders

23.3 For the purposes of

section 110 of the Act, a person who holds a Class C LNG facility permit in respect of the LNG Canada Project must pay a levy of $1 100

Section 24.3 is repealed and the following substituted:

Levy imposed

24.3 Holders of a designated permit on April 1 of each year must pay an orphan site restoration levy of $15 million, apportioned among the permit holders based on their situations on that date.
