OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated February 12, 2015, and pursuant to subsection 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to:

a) acquire Horse Island, which includes a smaller adjacent island, located in Halifax County, Nova Scotia, presently identified by PIDs 00531269 and 41417395 that are outlined in bold on the map marked

Schedule “A”, which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation, from James Reardon, Sara Reardon, Marion Reardon, Edward Reardon, and Angela Reardon, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns for a purchase price of $140,000 plus any legal, appraisal or survey costs incurred by the Minister in respect of the purchase, subject to the condition that, James Reardon, Sara Reardon, Marion Reardon, Edward Reardon, and Angela Reardon, their respective executors, heirs, trustees, administrators and approved successors and assigns be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
