OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development dated July 8, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to: (

a) approve financial assistance by way of a payroll rebate to Surrette Battery Company Limited, in an amount not to exceed Three Hundred Ninety Nine Thousand One Hundred Ninety Eight Dollars ($399,198.00), authorized by the Board of Directors of Nova Scotia Business Incorporated on January 13, 2010, on terms and conditions generally as outlined in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development dated July 8, 2010; (

b) revoke Order in Council 2008-154 dated March 26, 2008 which approved financial assistance by way of a payroll rebate to Surrette Battery Company Limited totalling $74,000.00; and (

c) authorize the Minister of Economic and Rural Development to execute such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
