OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal dated December 20, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 303 of

Chapter 293 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Motor Vehicle Act , is pleased, effective on and after February 13, 2018, to: (

a) approve the repeal by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal of the regulations respecting commercial vehicle trip inspections and records, N.S. Reg 223/90, made by the Minister of Transportation and Communication and approved by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 90-944 dated July 31, 1990; and (

b) approve new regulations respecting commercial vehicle trip inspections made by the Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
