Statute: Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission Act Finance Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Public Works dated February 9, 2022, and pursuant to clause 10(1)(

f) of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 2005, the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission Act , and

Section 74 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board to lend money to the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission to a maximum of $155,000,000, on such terms and conditions as determined by the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board, to facilitate capital improvements to the Angus L. MacDonald Bridge and maintenance for the A. Murray MacKay Bridge, and to approve the Halifax-Dartmouth Bridge Commission borrowing such funds from the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board on terms and conditions as specified by the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board.
