Minister of Finance and Co rate Relations 'ding M PROVINCE OF IIIRITIBH COLUMBIA ORDER OF THE LIEUTENANT GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL Order in Council No. 9 6 , Approved and Ordered FEB - 1 Lieutenant Governor Executive Council Chambers, Victoria On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective March 1, 2001, (a) section 3 (1) of the Hotel Room Tax Act applies in respect of accommodation purchased within the City of North Vancouver on or before March 1, 2006, (

b) the additional tax payable under that

section is 2% of the purchase price of the accommodation, and (

c) the purposes for which the amount paid to the municipality out of the revenue collected from the tax may be expended are tourism marketing, programs and projects. (This
