An Act to amend The Annual Holidays Act [Assented to March 29, 1957] Rev. Stat. c.261, new

section 17a The Annual Holidays Act is amended by inserting after

section the following section: Employment deemed to be continuous where business disposed of “17a For the purposes of this Act, where a business or part thereof is sold, leased, transferred or otherwise disposed of the service of the employees affected shall be deemed to be continuous and uninterrupted by the sale, lease, transfer or other disposition”. 1957, c.75, s.1.
