OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables, dated November 1, 2023, and pursuant to clause 16(1)(

b) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act , is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) granting an easement (being 30.5 metres wide and approximately 6 linear kilometres long) to Mersey River Wind Inc., a company with its registered office at Halifax, Halifax County, or its successors, trustees, and permitted assigns to construct, install, use and maintain a high-voltage transmission line on Crown lands currently identified as portions of PIDs 70166988, 70225420, 70247192, 70248687, 70248695, and 70259551 and shown as a bold line on the plan marked

Schedule “A” which is attached to and forms part of the Report and Recommendation; and (

b) execute such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
