OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated July 31, 2012, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to, effective October 2, 2012: (

a) authorize the Minister of Justice to enter into a funding agreement with the Government of Canada regarding a project entitled "Bringing Culture `Inside': Cultural Programming for Incarcerated Mi'kmaw and other Aboriginal Youth", in the form set out in

Schedule "A", attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, subject to such minor modifications that the Minister deems necessary; and (

b) authorize the entering into of the net debt obligation created by the indemnity clause within the agreement.
