Section of the Executive Council Act,

chapter E-12 of the Revised Statutes, 1973, is amended L’article de la

Loi sur le Conseil exécutif,

chapitre E-12 des lois révisées de 1973, est modifié (

a) in subsection (1) by striking out “twenty thou- sand dollars” and substituting “$52,614”;

a) au paragraphe (1), par la suppression de « vingt mille dollars » et son remplacement par « 52 614 $ »; (

b) in subsection (2) by striking out “thirty thousand dollars” and substituting “$79,000”.

Section of the Act is amended by striking out “fif- teen thousand dollars” and substituting “$39,500”. 2 L’article de la Loi est modifié par la suppression de « quinze mille dollars » et son remplacement par « 39 500 $ ». 3 Subsection 6.1(2) of the Act is amended in the portion preceding paragraph (

a) by striking out “January 1, 2002” and substituting “January 1, 2009”. 3

Article 1 (

a) The existing provision is as follows:

a) Texte de la disposition actuelle : 5(1) The Minister of Finance shall pay an annual salary of twenty thousand dollars in monthly instalments to each Minister appointed under

section 2, each member of the Executive Council prescribed du- ties under subsection 3(1) and each member of the Executive Council to, in or on whom a right, power, duty, function, responsibility or au- thority is transferred, vested or imposed under subsection 3(2). 5(1) Le ministre des Finances doit verser un traitement annuel de vingt mille dollars, par versements mensuels, à chaque ministre nommé en application de l’article 2, à chaque membre du Conseil exécutif à qui des fonctions ont été attribuées en application du paragraphe 3 (1) et à chaque membre du Conseil exécutif à qui un droit, un pouvoir, une obligation, une fonction, une responsabilité ou une autorité a été trans- mis, conféré ou imposé en application du paragraphe 3(2). b) Texte de la disposition actuelle : 5(2) The Minister of Finance shall pay to the Premier an annual sal- ary of thirty thousand dollars in monthly instalments and an allowance of twenty-five hundred dollars annually for expenses incidental to the discharge of his duties as Premier. 5(2) Le ministre des Finances doit verser au Premier ministre un traitement annuel de trente mille dollars, par versements mensuels et une indemnité de deux mille cinq cents dollars annuellement pour les dépenses supportées dans l’exercice de ses fonctions de Premier mi- nistre.
