Order in Council 1211/2020

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas the Honourable Justice Jean Guy Legault was reappointed as regional senior judge of the Ontario Court of Justice for the East Region by Order in Council O.C. 632/2019, for a term of three years ending July 24, 2022;

And

whereas Regional Senior Justice Legault has advised that he will be ending his term effective September 25, 2020;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 77(

a) of the Legislation Act, 2006 and subsection 42(6) of the Courts of Justice Act , Order in Council, O.C. 632/2019 be revoked, effective September 25, 2020.
