OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Finance dated May 5, 2006, and pursuant to subsection 72(3) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Finance to guarantee the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (the "CNSOPB") on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in Right of the Province of Nova Scotia the obligations of 3052155 Nova Scotia Limited under a demand promissory note to be issued to the CNSOPB in an amount not to exceed Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($2,500,000.00) as proof of financial responsibility as required by the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act; and authorize the Minister of Finance to execute the guarantee and such other agreements and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
