OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism dated March 10, 2015, and pursuant to Order in Council 2005-373 dated August 19, 2005, which order authorizes Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to redevelop and revitalize the lands surrounding Halifax Harbour, and pursuant to

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to, effective March 20, 2015: (

a) authorize Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to enter into an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, for the acquisition of the Dartmouth Coast Guard Base property, in the form substantially as set out in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation; (

b) authorize Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to enter into the net debt obligations contained in the agreement referred to in paragraph (a); and (

c) authorize Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to enter into such agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order.
