Order in Council 1237/2023

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of His Majesty the King in Right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve His Majesty's Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Catherine Zahn, MD , FRCPC

be appointed Deputy Minister of Health, effective September 7, 2023, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding one year from the effective date of this appointment;

And that the salary provisions of Order in Council O.C. 1038/2021, dated July 28, 2021, shall continue to apply during the term of this appointment.
