Deveau, Member O r d e r An application having been made by the Municipality of the County of Richmond pursuant to s. 369 of the Municipal Government Act and the Board having issued its decision on April 21, 2008; It is hereby ordered that the application is approved as follows: 1. The number of polling districts for the Municipality of the County of Richmond is confirmed at 10; 2. The number of councillors is confirmed at 10; 3. The proposed boundaries of the polling districts are approved; and 4. The descriptions of all polling districts are set out in

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of this Order; And it is further ordered that all provisions of the Municipal Government Act and the Municipal Elections Act and any other Acts of the Province of Nova Scotia applying to the preparation for and holding of the regular election of councillors of the Municipality in the year 2008 will be complied with as if the above- noted changes had been made on the first day of March, 2008, but for all other purposes, such changes shall take effect on the first day of the first meeting of the Council after the election of councillors for the year 2008. Schedule “A” to the Order in Council by striking out item 5 of the

Schedule and substituting the following item: 5 Subsection 6(3) of the regulations is rep ealed and the following subsection substituted:

(3) The repayment of loans for the purpose of aquaculture shall be as follows: (

a) for salmonids, no principal repayment required until 60 days after the completion of the first harvest after the loan has been made, and the loan must be completely repaid within 10 years; (

b) for mussels, no principal repayment required until 60 days after the completion of the first harvest after the loan has been made, and the loan must be completely repaid within 10 years; (

c) for oysters and sea plants, no principal repa yment required until 60 days after the completion of the first harvest after the loan has been made, and the loan must be completely repaid within 12 years; and (

d) for all other aquaculture projects, repayments of loan principal shall be at the discretion of the Board.

Schedule “A” Amendment to the Fishing Regulations made by the Governor in Council under

Section 113 of

Chapter 504 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Wildlife Act 1T h e Fishing Regulations, N.S. Reg. 29/88, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 88-131 dated February 9, 1988, are amended by repealing subsection 3(2). 2 The regulations are further amended by adding th e following heading and

Section immediately after

Section 3: Disabled persons 3A

(1) The Minister may issue a General Fishing Licence at no cost to a disabled person.

(2) In this Section, “disabled person” means a resident or non-resident who either (

a) has obtained or is entitled to obtain an accessible parking identification permit (permanent disability) issued under the regulations respecting identification permits for vehicles transporting mobility handicapped persons made under the Motor Vehicle Act; or (

b) has obtained a special number plate for their vehicle under the regulations respecting registration of mobility handicapped persons’ vehicles made under the Motor Vehicle Act.

(3) To demonstrate that they meet the criteria in clause (2)(a), a resident or non-resident must produce either (

a) an accessible parking identification permit (permanent disability) issued by the Registrar of Motor Vehicles; or (

b) a completed application form for an accessible parking identification permit (permanent disability) on an Application for Accessible Parking Identification Permits and Plates form issued by the Department of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations.

(4) A completed application form referred to in clause (3)(

b) is valid for 5 years from the date it was signed by the resident or non-resident’s doctor.
