OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the President of the Executive Council dated July 11, 2002, pursuant to subsections 4B(1) and (4),

Section 7, subsections 17A(3) and 24(4) and

Section 84 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased, effective July 18, 2002, to: (

a) approve "at risk" performance pay on an annual basis up to a maximum of 15% of the Deputy Minister Pay Plan (DM11) for Deputy Ministers and other senior officials designated by the Governor in Council; and (

b) designate the following positions as eligible for consideration of "at risk" performance pay: (

i) Associate Deputy Minister of Health, (ii) Assistant Deputy Minister of Finance, (iii) Assistant Deputy Minister of Community Services, (iv) Public Service Commissioner, (

v) Executive Officer of Treasury and Policy Board, (vi) Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Economic Development, (vii) Chief Executive Officer of the Office of Aboriginal Affairs, and (viii) Chief Executive Officer of the Sydney Tar Ponds Clean-up Project.
