OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated April 29, 2005, and pursuant to

Section 12 of

Chapter 244 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Justices of the Peace Act, is pleased to amend the Justices of the Peace Regulations, N.S. Reg. 51/2002, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 2002-159 dated March 28, 2002, to enable staff justices of the peace to deal with

summary offence tickets in a manner that is consistent with the

Summary Proceedings Act and to endorse out of province warrants under sections 487 or 528 of the Criminal Code (Canada), in the manner set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, effective on and after May 20, 2005.
