On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with

the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the Reporting Information Affecting Public Health Regulation, B.C. Reg. 167/2018,

is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 1, and

(

b) effective May 15, 2026, the Reporting Information Affecting Public Health

Regulation is amended as set out in the attached Appendix 2.

Appendix 1

Section 3 (4) of the Reporting Information Affecting Public Health Regulation,

B.C. Reg. 167/2018, is repealed.

Appendix 2

Section 1 of the

Schedule to the Reporting Information Affecting Public Health

Regulation, B.C. Reg. 167/2018, is amended by adding the following paragraphs:

(a.1) acute flaccid paralysis;

(b.1) anaplasmosis;

(c.1) babesiosis;

(e.1) California serogroup viruses;

(o.1) ehrlichiosis; .

Section 2 of the

Schedule is amended by adding the following paragraph:

(v.1) Powassan virus; .

Section 3 of the

Schedule is amended

(

a) by adding the following paragraphs:

(b.1) respiratory syncytial virus;

(c.1) Rocky Mountain spotted fever;

(l.1) tick-borne relapsing fever; , and

(

b) by repealing paragraph (c).
