AMENDMENT REGULATION

1 The Employment Agency Business Licensing Regulation

(AR 45/2012) is amended by this Regulation.

Section 20 is repealed.

DESIGNATION AND TRANSFER OF RESPONSIBILITY

(COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT)

AMENDMENT REGULATION

on September 14, 2017 pursuant to sections 17 and 18 of the Government

Organization Act.

1 The Designation and Transfer of Responsibility

Regulation (AR 80/2012) is amended by this Regulation.

2 The following is added after

section 18:

Transfer of communications staff

18.1(1) The responsibility for that part of the public service

associated with the parts of the appropriation transferred under

subsections (2) to (4) is transferred to the President of Treasury

Board, Minister of Finance.

(2) The following are transferred to the President of Treasury Board,

Minister of Finance:

(

a) the responsibility for the administration of the unexpended

balance of program 3, Public Affairs, of the 2017-18

Government appropriation for Executive Council, except the

portion relating to information technology support and service

contracts for Executive Council operations;

(

b) the responsibility for the administration of the unexpended

balance of the Communications element, of program 1,

Ministry Support Services, of the 2017-18 Government

appropriation for the following Departments:

Advanced Education;

Agriculture and Forestry;

Children's Services;

Community and Social Services;

Culture and Tourism;

Economic Development and Trade;

Education;

Energy;

Environment and Parks;

Health;

Indigenous Relations;

Infrastructure;

Justice and Solicitor General;

Labour;

Seniors and Housing;

Status of Women;

Transportation.

(3) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended

balance of element 1.3, Support Services, relating to communication

services, of program 1, Ministry Support Services, of the 2017-18

Government appropriation for Municipal Affairs is transferred to the

President of Treasury Board, Minister of Finance.

(4) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended

balance of element 1.3, Corporate Services, relating to

communication services, of program 1, Ministry Support Services, of

the 2017-18 Government appropriation for Service Alberta is

transferred to the President of Treasury Board, Minister of Finance

Transfer of graphic designers and web designers, etc.

18.2(1) In this

section "communication services" includes

and the design and development of public web content.

(2) This

section does not apply with respect to that part of the public

service referred to in

section 18.1.

(3) The responsibility for that part of the public service carrying out

the function of communication services with respect to a Department

is transferred to the President of Treasury Board, Minister of

Finance.

(4) The responsibility for the administration of the unexpended

balance of the parts of the 2017-18 Government appropriation for a

Department associated with that part of the public service transferred

from that Department under subsection (3) is transferred to the

President of Treasury Board, Minister of Finance.
