B.C. Reg. 54/2016 , deposited March 2, 2016, under the ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT [sections 21, 22, 73, 74, 138 and 139] and MOTOR VEHICLE ACT [section 210]. Order in Council 131/2016, approved and ordered March 1, 2016.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the regulations set out in the attached Appendix 1 are repealed, and

(

b) the regulations set out in the attached Appendix 2 are amended as indicated.

Appendix 1

1 The following regulations are repealed:

(

a) Motor Vehicle Emissions Control Warranty Regulation, B.C. Reg. 116/96;

(

b) Sulphur Content of Fuel Regulation, B.C. Reg. 67/89;

(

c) Code of Practice for the Discharge of Produced Water from Coalbed Gas Operations, B.C. Reg. 156/2005.

Appendix 2

1 Sections 28 and 40 of the Administrative Penalties (Environmental Management Act) Regulation, B. C. Reg. 133/2014, are repealed.

2 The Waste Discharge Regulation, B.C. Reg. 320/2004, is amended

(

a) by repealing

section 4.1, and

(

b) in Column 2 of Item 7 of the Table in

Schedule 2 by striking out “ Code of Practice for the Discharge of Produced Water from Coalbed Gas Operations ”.

3 Paragraph (

c) of B.C. Reg. 116/96 is repealed.
