SCHEDULE

Section of the Motor Carrier Regulation No. 2, B.C. Reg. 252/94, is amended by adding the following

definitions: "charitable association" means a charity registered with the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency; "volunteer driver" means a person, other than a licensee, who drives a motor vehicle for a charitable association for no remuneration other than reimbursement for all or any part of the cost of operating the motor vehicle, including for the cost of gasoline, tolls, ferry fares, incidental wear and tear, insurance and maintenance, but not including depreciation. 2 Section 2 (2) is amended by adding the following paragraph: (

k) a motor vehicle while being operated by a volunteer driver for the trans- portation of a passenger to and from a place at which the passenger seeks health care treatment. 1 of 1
